VNIS Origin Shield is a sophisticated security suite deployed across multiple CDNs. It provides comprehensive protection for your origin server by filtering traffic and requests before it reaches the origin (regardless of which CDN is being used). It consists of:
- OWASP WAF
- Customizable firewall rules
- Access control
- Bot management
- L7 DDoS protection
- API protection.
To activate Origin Shield, navigate to ‘ Marketplace’ > ‘Origin Shield’. Here you can find the Origin Shield Power-Up.
Open the Power-Up card, and click the ‘Install’ button to install the Origin Shield on your account.
The Power-Up card contains information such as the coverage and the price of Origin Shield.
After clicking the ‘Install’ button, the Origin Shield will be available to protect all your existing domains after a few minutes.
